I chose this image because to me, the meaning of being a nurse connects back to my childhood best friend and this is a picture showing the two of us. My childhood best friend was born with a club foot and a leg length discrepancy, resulting in her undergoing two leg lengthening surgeries as well as several others throughout our childhood.
